Colon cancer
patients may have smaller change for recurrence of cancer by eating nuts every
week, and get more opportunity for survival. This is the latest news from
America. Researchers of Boston Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute studied diary of 826 patients suffering phase III colon
cancer. All patents accepted surgery and chemotherapy. Compared with those who
did not eat nuts, the patients eating over 2ounce nuts every week have a cancer
recurrence rate 42% lower, and death rate 57% lower. ASCO released the important
finding in the annual meeting held last month.
