About Association

The Specialized Committee for Nuts and Dried Fruits of China National Food Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CNA) was registered at  Ministry of Civil Affairs upon approval of the State-owned Assets Super vision and Administration Commission of the State Council in 2005. It is a national industrial association endowed with functions of national nuts and roasted seeds industry management and services by the government, and now is a branch of China Food Industry Association.

The members of CNA contain local nuts and dried fruits associations (chambers of commerce) as well as enterprises regarding scientific research, plantation, raw materials, processing, marketing as well as related equipment, packaging, additive and ingredients providers in the entire industrial chain.

It now owns over 3000 society members. There are nearly800 core society members, and leading enterprises are ChaCha, Three Squirrels,Dahaoda, Shazi Sunflower Seeds, Hengkang, Alishan, Huiji, True Love, Laiyifen,BeStore, Be&Cheery, Wolong, California Field, Yaoshenji, Ganyuan, Hangpai,Shatu, Yun’aoda and Sanpangdan, which are all core members of CNA.

Main society members as local associations (chamber ofcommerce) are: Zhejiang Pecans Industry Association, Henan Chamber of Commercefor Nuts and Roasted Seeds, Guangdong Association of Nuts, Guangxi Associationof Nuts, Heilongjiang Association of Pumpkins, Wuhu Association of RoastedSeeds, Bengbu Chamber of Commerce for Roasted Seeds, Ningguo Pecans IndustryAssociation, Hangzhou Lin’an Association of Pecans, Hangzhou Lin’an Nuts and Roasted Seeds Association, Zhuji Nuts and Roasted Seeds Association, TielingAssociation of Hazelnuts, Meihekou Association of Pinenuts, Qianshan Associationof Pericarpium Trichosanthis, Nanyang Association of Peanuts, and PizhouChamber of Commerce for Fried Nuts.

The annual sales income and tax of all membersare accounting for over 80% of large scale enterprises in the entire industry.

CNA established expert panel comprising leaders, experts and professors from National Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, National Center for Food Safety Assessment,National Food Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, National Technical Committee on Food Standardization, China Agricultural University, Chinese Society of Nutrition, as well as domestic and overseas famous scientific research institutions. Mr. Nian Guangjiu, the well-known person in China nuts and roasted seeds industry and celebrities are hired as the advisory group.

Meanwhile, CNA has extensive cooperation and communication with international associations and enterprises in this industry. It has established and maintained favorable communication and exchange channel with pistachio, walnut, almond, pecan, hazelnut, cashew and macadamia associations and hundreds of enterprises in USA, Australia, South Africa,Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, Chile, Russia and Pakistan. Therefore, CNA is highly representative and authorized in nuts and roasted seeds industry in China. Itis well-known and extensively influential in the world.

CNA is responsible to drive development of nuts and roasted seeds industry, make it stronger and influential in the world, and lead development of world’s nuts and roasted seed industry. Meanwhile, it bears responsibility to make healthy nuts and dried fruits benefit people, and promote people to pursue wonderful life.

CNA will work with peers in the industry to develop it to an association truly representing industrial profits, maintaining rights ofenterprises and guiding industrial development, and the base for enterprises to solve difficulties, make complaints and share success.
