An animal experiment published in Current Topics in Nutraceutical Research shows a handful of pecans everyday can protect your nervous system. When the test is ended, Cellular Neurobiology Center of University of Massachusetts Lowell said putting pecan to food can postpone motor neuronal degeneration caused by aging. The motor neuronal degeneration relates to diseases such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
