Reported by UK Daily Mail: The new research shows that nut fruits can help overcome type 2 diabetes. According to 12 clinical trial evidences collected by relevant experts, consumption of two nut fruits daily can reduce and stabilize the blood sugar level of the patient with type 2 diabetes. There are different types of nut fruits, including walnuts, pistachios, filberts, etc. Moreover, each content of nuts is 30 g.

The research has analyzed data from 450 participants, and the results showed that edible nuts can improve two key indicators of blood sugar: one is glycosylated hemoglobin and another is the fasting blood sugar level. The patient for blood sugar measurement is not allowed to eat 8 hours before measurement, and when the nut replaces refined sugar carbohydrates rather than unsaturated fatty acid, the test works the best.

Dr. John Sievenpiper from St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto participated in the research; he said that, eating nut is a healthy dietary pattern for the people to keep the normal blood sugar level. Although the nut is rich in fat, it is a healthy unsaturated fatty acid.
