        Yang Qian, the Secretary of the Commission, led a delegation to meet with Carol Kunert, the President of Australian Walnut Industry Association, and other related persons thereof. Both sides presented in detail the integral development status of planting, processing and markets in respective walnut industry, and deeply discussed the issues of walnut nutrition and consumption trends in which both sides were interested and negotiated and discussed the cooperation and communication of Chinese and Australian walnut industries. Both sides were satisfied with the meeting results, and expressed that mutual efforts would be made to promote the cashew trade.
