The National Bureau of Statistics releases output of domestic main industrial product and the data of growth rate from January to December of 2013, including the data of sugar industry, food manufacturing industry and beverage manufacturing. This statistical caliber is industrial enterprise whose revenue of major business is above 20 million RMB.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November of 2013, the national food industries above a designated scale accumulatively accomplished main business income of 8317.11 billion RMB, up by14.2 % year-on-year; the profits stood at 522.66 billion RMB, up by 13.4 % year-on-year; total taxes reached 270.76 billion RMB, up by 12.2 % year-on-year.

From January to November of 2013, the proportion of added value of the farm and sideline food processing industry, food manufacturing industry and alcohol, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry to the national industrial added value was 4.88 %, 1.90 % and 2.03 %, up by 9.50 %, 10.40 % and 10.10 % respectively.

From January to November of 2013, the national food industrial production growth remained steady, the profit grew stably, efficiency increase narrowed, food investment developed smoothly up and import and export growth was stable. From January to November of 2013, main business income of enterprise above a designated scale reached 8350 billion RMB, up by 14.15 % year-on-year; profit and tax stood at 797.2 billion RMB, up by 12.94 %, of which profits were 524.5 billion RMB, up to 13.36 %.
