On the “NPC and CPPCC food-discussing hall” meeting sponsored by the China Institute of science and technology and Chinese economic network on March 8th, the relevant government officials disclosed that the new revised food safety law in our country is expected to be formally introduced this year, they also expressed that in terms of food safety, the implementation of the food traceability system and the quality security authorizer system will be intensified this year.

This law increased the penalties for the operators of food production and increased the legal liability of food safety supervisors.
