The 46th Codex Committee on Food Additives was open in Hong Kong on March 17, 2014. The representatives from 54 member countries, one member organization and 34 international organizations all around the world attended this meeting, and deeply discussed and exchanged on various issues involving food additives general standards and food additives safety management.

After the meeting, the reports, including discussion results and suggestions of the codex committee will be submitted to the 37^th Codex Alimentarius Commission meeting held in July for deliberation.
