The “breeding and supporting cultivation technology research and application of intercropping peanut Guihua 771”” passed the evaluation by experts group of Guangxi Department of Science and Technology in Nanning, Guangxi.

Since 1998, Tang Ronghua team of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences Industrial Crops Institute launched the scientific research. Through 15 years’ research, the researchers have successfully bred the favorable peanut variety “Guihua 771”, which has the optimal comprehensive performance among the peanut varieties in intercropping test.

    It is known that the “Guihua 771” and the supporting high yield and high efficiency intercropping cultivation technology has applied to 2.2713 million mu in Guangxi and nearby provinces, and generated direct and indirect economic benefits of 1.884 Billion Yuan.
