In recent years, in order to develop the ecological agriculture in Danjiangkou Reservoir area, Shiyan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government propose to construct the “Four Million-Projects”.
    As of the end of 2013, Shiyan has developed 1.07 Million Mu walnuts, and plans to increase 110,000mu new walnut forest. So far, about hundreds of thousands Mu walnut trees are bearing fruits. Five years later, the millions of mu walnut trees will reach the high yield period in succession with output of ten million.
