On April 17 - 18, the “Global Food Safety Conference 2014” was co-hosted by China Association for Food Science and Technology, IUFoST and China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment for the fifth time. 2013 Global Food Safety Index released by the Economist Intelligence Unit shows that China’s index last year was ranked 42nd in 107 countries.
