Xintaizi Town, Tieling County has attracted an investment of RMB 100 million, from Shenyang Fenghui Seed Industry Development Co., Ltd. to build a 10,000-mu hazelnut base in Yangshitun Village, forming the first 10,000-mu continuous economic forest base in Tieling City.

This spring, the local government transferred 5,000 mu lands in Yangshitun Village, at a price of RMB 800 per mu. Since March 31, 12 machineries and over 70 man-days of labor have been employed to start planting big hazelnuts. A total of RMB 60,000,000 has been invested, complete with a 3,000 mu cultivated area by this time.
