Chen Xianbao, the President of Special Committee for Roasted Seeds and Nuts of China of China National Food Industry Association and Mr. Schneller, the Consul General in charge of agriculture of Consulate General of the United States in Shanghai respectively delivered themed speech and splendid address in the opening ceremony. The representatives from multiple foreign enterprises and associations such as the United States and Chile attended, and domestic and overseas guests delivered splendid speeches in the forum to exchange the latest achievements in all fields of the nuts and seeds industry, and promote the communication and cooperation between each field.

Many new and old overseas exhibitors from 5 countries and regions attended the exhibition, including America pecan Growers Association, American California Walnut Association, Paramount Farms, etc., among which the enterprises from California and Brazil attended the roasted seeds expo for the first time. This expo attracted 5 countries, and 280 enterprises to participate, and domestic and overseas merchants reached over 30 thousands. The total number exceeded the former expos. The booths for overseas enterprises accounted for 8% of total booths. The global symbol of this export is eye-catching!
