approved in the executive meeting convened by Li Keqiang about deployment of accelerating the development of producer services’ weak links and key areas for industrial structure adjustment and upgrade
On May 14, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang convened and presided over the executive meeting of the State Council which is about deployment of accelerating the development of producer services weak links and key areas for upgrading industrial structure adjustment and upgrade. In the meeting, Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft) has been approved throughout discussions.
The meeting pointed out that we need to depend more on market mechanism and Innovation-driven growth, focus on research and development design, commerce service, marketing, sales service and other production services, so as to enhance the overall quality and competence of China's economy.
The meeting pointed out that we need to deepen reform and opening-up policies, expand market access, decrease projects needing precondition for qualification approval and encourage social capital to participate in the manufacture-related service industry. Moreover, the meeting pointed out that we need to continue developing producer service industry.
Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft) has been approved at the meeting. And Revised Draft will be submitted to the NPC Standing Committee for examination and approval after further revision.
