    On May 19, 2014, Peng Jiacai, deputy director of China Food and Drug Administration met with Ms Carmen Cano, Head of European Union Delegation to China. Both parties expressed their hopes to strengthen cooperation in the field of food safety and share successful experience in the field of food safety supervision to jointly promote food safety.
