According to report issued on www.ce.cn on June 16 (by Liu Xiaoxiao)  The China Food Safety 30-Person Forum and City Media Training Camp, one of the major activities of the 2014 national food safety awareness week was launched in the Renmin University of China on June 14.

The China Food Safety Forum has gathered the leading scientists and experts in the field of the food safety, aiming at establishing a close communication platform among the government departments, food industry, academic organizations, news media and the public, conducting major theme research in the field of food safety, researching and guiding the food safety public opinions, conducting risk assessment of food safety incidents, releasing information and holding food safety knowledge activity for public.
