"The Second China - Italian food safety dialogue " was held on July 8 .

Zhang Yong, Secretary of the State Food and Drug Administration, pointed out that against the background of increasingly active international trade, and the growing trend of global economic integration, food safety calls for the common concern of the international community. And all countries should strengthen cooperation and coordination to prevent and respond to food safety risks. In addition, further communication and collaboration are needed so as to solve issues in terms of the level of production technology , legal regulations and standards, inspection and quarantine system , diet and cultural differences and so on.
