The 2014 Dongyuan Chinese Chestnuts Promotion Event will be launched on Sept. 5 on Chuantang Town, the largest Chinese Chestnuts Planting base and first Chinese chestnut town in Guangdong.

Dongyuan will hold a series of activities including performance, garden tour, Chinese chestnut picking, Chinese chestnut exhibition hall visit, project signing, and Chinese chest nut planting technology training. Dongyuan County sincerely invites merchants and tourists to taste Chinese chestnuts, negotiate, invest, visit and take holiday here. 

At present, Dongyuan has established the supporting system and network sales service system integrating pre-production, production and after-production services as well as production, supply and sales. The Chinese chestnut planting area reaches 200,000 mu (including 150,000 fruit bearing area), mainly distributed in 21 towns such as Chuantang. The Chinese chestnut gardens have become the “green bank” for farmers in Dongyuan to become prosperous.
