From September 20 to 22, the 5^th China Hazelnut Festival and Tieling Hazelnut Trade Fair was held at Shenyang Heping District Huangshi Square.

The planting area of hazelnut in Tieling City currently covers an area of 1.4 million Mu and its output reaches 45 million kilograms. Both its planting area and output rank top domestically. Tieling has become a distribution center for hazelnut sales across the country and the seedling breeding base of hazelnut. 500 thousand kilograms turnover is expected to be achieved at this exhibition.
