Pecan Engineering Research Center of the State Forestry Bureau, the first national forestry engineering center in Hefei, was officially inaugurated on October 18.

　　This center was established by the State Forestry Bureau with Anhui Institute of Forestry Science and Technology and Research Institute of Subtropical Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, as supporting institutions. Through original innovation and integrated innovation, it integrates new pecan sci-tech innovation resources, strengthens the independent research and development and tackles critical points of key technologies in the pecan industry, realizing the engineering and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.
