On October 28, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced that in 2013 the main business income of food industry throughout the country hit RMB 10 trillion, with a growth of 74.9% compared to that of 2010. However, there has been no big difference in “small, scattered and low” situations yet. The NDRC will positively improve the food security capacity through speeding up industrial restructuring, increasing capital investment and other measures.
