In October, new sunflower seeds are concentrated marketed, and the rigid demand of new sunflower seeds promotes the rising of price. In the case of Wuyuan of Inner Mongolia, currently the loading price of new sunflower seeds is RMB 3.80 Yuan/jin, with a growth of approximate RMB 0.40 Yuan/jin compared to that in the same period of last month, increased by 12%; with a decline of RMB 0.40 Yuan/jin compared to that in the same period of last year, decreased by 11%. As the overall production of edible sunflower seed has been increased by 50% this year, it is expected that, with the wearing off of demand boost, adequate supply of goods, limit tolerance of clients and part insufficient quality supply of goods would become the weakness of further increase of edible sunflower seeds. Therefore, it is estimated that recently the market of sunflower seeds may be in a relatively stable stage with limit fluctuation range.
