Bayannur City of Inner Mongolia is one of the main sunflower seed producing areas in China, with a planting area larger than 3.5 million mu in recent two years. 　　The reasons that the current price of the sunflower seed from Bayannur City is lower than that in previous years are as follows: Firstly, the first frost this year comes late; the sunflower seed grouting is sufficient and output is increased (per unit output is increased by 10.36% when compared with the last year; it is expected that the total output will reach 1.6 billion jin, increased by 6.67% when compared with the last year), and the marketable total amount is also increased when compared with the last year. Secondly, sunflower seeds from Xinjiang, Gansu, and Ningxia have come into the market successively, and the impact of greatly increased resources is also one of the reasons of the currently relatively low price.
