The 12^th meeting of the 12^th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress which was held in Beijing on December 22 continued to review the revised draft of the Food Safety Law.

    The food storage and transportation will be incorporated into the law supervision scope. The committee members raised that, the food storage and transportation is an important link of the food safety management, and it is necessary to reinforce the management of the enterprise except the food producer and trader. It is suggested to make specific provisions in the law.

    In addition, some committee member thought that, the current online food shopping is popular, and it is necessary to incorporate the special warehousing and logistics enterprise handling storage and transportation of the food into legal supervision scope.
