Learned from the Sichuan Forestry Department, there are 7 variety comparative test and demonstration spots of walnut fine breed established in Sichuan. They are located on the Wangcang and An County respectively lying in the north and northeast of the basin; Li County in the canyon in the west of Sichuan; Dechang County, Liangshan Prefecture in the south mountain in the west of Sichuan, and Renshou, Shehong, Gulin Counties in the basin centre.
