China’s Food Safety Report was Released in 2014

China’s Food Safety Development Report (2014) published by China’s food safety public opinion research center affiliated to the State Administration of Food Drug Safety showed that the public’s food satisfaction and confidence both fell.


For the released ten major unqualified imported food origins, Taiwan ranks the top. In addition, for six categories of food, drink and bottled water have the lowest qualification rate. The report is made after one year’s analysis by more than 40 experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Jiangnan University, China Agricultural University and more than 10 colleges and universities by means of data analysis approach.
