In recent years, Lincang City of Yunan Province takes macadamia nut industry as key industry in plateau characteristic agriculture industry construction industry for promotion. As of now, the city has completed planting of 1.0739 million mus of nuts, areas put into production have reached 65000 mus, nut yields have achieved 1,200 tons and output value has reached 36 million yuan. Lincang has become the country’s largest city of macadamia nut planting base.
