Recently,
Taiwan Food and Drug Administration announced that the SO2 residue
in almonds (NON-BITTER
ALMOND) exported from mainland China is detected 0.090 g/kg. In
accordance with “food additive use range and limit & specification standard”,
the bleaching agent residual (by SO2) shall be no higher than 0.030
g/kg. The batch of goods is totally 13200kg. The nonconforming commodities
shall be returned or destroyed according to relevant provisions.
