With the South
American soybeans imports increased largely, the second quarter of China's
soybean imports will be increased month by month. In June, soybean imports will
reach 8.5 to 9 million tons, in the second quarter will reach 20 million tons,
the same period last year is 18.86 million tons. Soybean
imports for the whole year are expected to reach 74 million tons, compared to
last year’s 70.36 million tons, increased
5.2%.
Based on 74 million tons of imported
expectation, from June to September, it will reach 7.07 million tons of
soybeans per month, compared to the same period last year’s 6.23 million tons,
increased 13.5%. Since May, the oil company has increased workload, but the
increase of soybean stocks is limited, which reflects the expectation in the
market is good after the replacement of the miscellaneous soybean stocks. Beans
price is still low, and it also boosts soybean oil consumption. Despite the
late pressure of soybean imports, oil meal supply is adequate, but because of
the large demands, and prices are low, the fall of oil meal prices is limited.
