It shows according to official data issued by China’s General
Administration of Customs that China has imported 8,087,090 tons of soybeans in
June 2015, which was 6,126,975 more than the import volume of May and has
increased by 26.58% compared with that of the corresponding period of last
year.
China imported 2771 tons of soybeans from USA in June with a
year-on-year decrease of 98.46%; China imported 6,659,720
tons of soybeans from Brazil with a year-on-year growth of 22.86%; China
imported 1,171,882 tons of soybeans from Argentina with a year-on-year growth
of 68.18%; China imported 235,115 tons of soybeans from
Uruguay with a year-on-year growth of 159.67%; China imported 1,749 tons of
soybeans from Canada with a year-on-year growth of 43.09%; China imported 15,852
tons of soybeans from Russia without comparison date of the corresponding
period of last year.
Total import volume of soybeans from January 2015 to June 2015 was 35,154,502 tons with a year-on-year growth of 2.78%. USA is the largest supply country, which has decreased by 0.9% compared with the corresponding period of last year; China imported 16,053,766 tons of soybeans from Brazil with a year-on-year growth of 2.03%; China imported 481,041 tons of soybeans from Canada with a year-on-year decrease of 6.68%; China imported 193,877 from Russia with a year-on-year growth of 31.3%; China imported 1,240,272 tons of soybeans from Argentina with a year-on-year growth of 71.62%; China imported 250,115 tons of soybeans from Uruguay with a year-on-year growth of 82.5%.
