Recently, many supervision departments investigated flow direction of imported soybeans in many ports to control imported soybeans entering commodity market. The imported soybeans are only allowed to use in oil plant. The imported soybeans can be bought from port dealers upon imported transgenic soybean processing permit. This action can show the government has emphasized on and strengthened supervision on flow direction of imported soybeans. Since July 24, the application for imported soybeans in Shandong Port is basically stopped. Even if the port is unsealed in later period, the imported soybeans flowing into food industry will be restricted obviously. Insiders predict that every year about 2 million ton imported transgenic soybeans flow into food market. Thus, strengthening supervision is undoubtedly a favorable condition for domestic soybean market.

This year, the government delays auctioning domestic reserve soybeans. In later period, the worry about shortage of domestic soybeans spreads over the market, which may bring opportunity of rise to domestic soybeans in the future.
