On Aug. 18, the website of Legislative Affairs Office of the State
Council released Administrative Measures
for Supervision and Inspection on Food Production and Operation (Exposure
Draft). According to the Exposure Draft, the food and drug administrative
departments shall carry out full-item inspection on food producer and operators
at least once a year. The supervision departments shall release relevant
records and results on the website within two workdays.
The Exposure Draft requires that the food operators shall disclose the supervision and inspection results on operating venue where consumers are easy to receive the consumption information. Meanwhile, the supervision and inspection results will be recorded to food safety credit file of food producers and operators.
