RMB Devaluation Enhances Cost, Import of Soybean Slows Down

Demands of China that is the leading importer has slowed down in the recent weeks. Up to now, quantity ordered of soybeans whose sail schedule is in November is just half of that of the corresponding period of last year, which is because that RMB has devalued in the recent so that overseas import cost is very expensive.


Chinese demand is low and its economic growth makes people worried, which has made the price of American soybeans decrease to the lowest level in the recent six years, namely USD 8.55/bushel.
