Statistics unveil that food industry growth in China is going through three successive years of declining tendencies, the industry as a whole is standing at a transitional period, and industrial development is stepping into a ‘new normalcy’. Meng Suhe, Director General of China Food Technology Society, stated in its 12th annual meeting that growth and transformation of domestic foodstuff industry cannot do without the backup of science and technology. In the late years, speedy development of foodstuff technologies in our country has become the congenital impetus to propel holistic level of food industry to realize leapfrog development.
