Exporters Need to Value New US Food Safety Regulations

Pubtime:2015-11-30Author:Source: Hits:

Recently, USA officially issued Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Human Food. As one of the matching laws with Food Safety Modernization Act, the new regulation requires food manufacturer finishing compliance process within one year after the issuance, and offers transitional period for two and three years respectively to small and microenterprises. After the transitional period, the nonconforming USA-oriented food exporters will be unable to export continuously.

The USA-oriented food exporters must reexamine and revise enterprise management system, and monitor, rectify and verify every link of preventive control according to requirements of key control points; meanwhile, enterprises shall actively contact with inspection and quarantine department, closely trace implementation dynamics of the regulations and jointly study countermeasures.
