China Food and Drug Administration issued Edible Agricultural Products Market Sale Quality Regulatory Measures, specifying that from March 1, all agriculture products entering the wholesale market will be subject to spot check, and agriculture products centralized trading places will be provided with product inspection system.

In the case of seller obligation, Measures specifies 13 edible products to be banned for sale. Any person selling those products will be punished by the Food Safety Law.
