The China Food Safety Cities and Agricultural Products Quality Safety County Pilot Work Site Meeting was held during April 19 and April 20. In the meeting, Bi Jingquan, the Director General of China Food and Drug Administration emphasized the food safety city building is the concrete action to implement the “four strictest standards” and treat “food pollution” proposed by the Party Central Committee and the State Council.

The first is to formulate standards for food safety city building;

The second is to explore strict and effective supervision method;

The third is to assess according to the standard of “mass satisfaction”;

The fourth is to strengthen supervision and guide management responsibility implementation.
