The Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently released the information of nonconforming foods and cosmetics entered in January 2016. Totally 50 batches of dairy products are unqualified, and returned or destroyed due to excessive bacteria or unqualified food additives. The 24 batches of Arla Foods products, a well-known Denmark brand, were destroyed because of unqualified packaging and inconsistence between goods and certificates. Aiming at the problems of imported foods, China carried out “source clarification” action plan for imported foods.
