Recently, the pecans, cranberry, pistachio nuts, almonds, walnut, fibert
and other products from America
have made a stage post on the 10th China’s
Nuts Food Exhibition held in Hefei City of Anhui
Province in 2016 and brought gluttonous
feast of America’s
nuts for the audience attended.
Mr. Huang Weiguang, the Deputy Director of the food research and
technology of California's Almonds Association
was interviewed during the exhibition and introduced the basic information of California’s almonds exported to China.
Director Huang joined California's
Almonds Association in 2001 and witnessed the sharp rise of California's
almonds in China’s
market.
Besides China’s
markets, California’s almonds are mainly
exported to the regions such as Spain
and Germany in Europe. China
has been the maximum importing country of California’s almonds for continuous four
years. In recent years, the slow down growth of the domestic economy has made a
certain influence on the nuts import. However, the overall volume of imported
nuts market is still huge.
