“Three-same” refers to “same line”, “same standard” and “same quality”. “Same line” means that the foods and agricultural products for export and domestic sales are from the same production chain, such as the same kind of farming and breeding bases, fruits package plant and production line of food company, etc. and produced according to the same production system for export food and agricultural products.

 “Same standard” means that the quality safety management system of the export enterprise comply with the relevant technical regulations and standards of the exporting and importing countries (regions), of which the standard shall “be the higher one other than the lower”. “Same quality” means that the foods and agricultural products for export and domestic sales will be reached the same quality level. The reporter learned from Shanghai Entry Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, now Shanghai has started making experiments of “Three-same” system in the aquatic products, meat products, fruits, vegetables, quick-frozen food and canned foods.
