Recently, Quality Inspection Administration has officially issued a document to specify that the existing and effective inspection and supervision applicable standards shall be applied for the food additives imported from the countries without any national standards for the time being and it shall still be valid before the issuance and implementation of the relevant national standards for food safety, which can be deemed as the applicable standard for the inspection and supervision of the import food additives.  

According to the new Food Safety Law implemented from October 1, 2015, the import food, food additives and food-related products shall comply with the national standards of our country for food safety and shall not continuously use other standards as the applicable ones for inspecting the import food.
