The AQSIQ recently, on the web portal, notifies statistical data and information of inspection and quarantine organs in imported food contact products.

According to the White Paper, in 2015, totally 108,000 batches imported food contact products worth of USD 670 Million are inspected in China. The number of batches increases 35.7% and good valve reduces 9.8%. Totally 8331 batches of nonconforming imported food contact products are detected, with failure rate of 7.71%.

As disclosed by the White Paper, the nonconforming reasons are label, logo, safety and hygiene items and other items.
