On May 11, under the witness of Xi Jinping, the President of China and Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, Zhi Shuping, the Director General of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and Akhannouch, Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Fishery of Morocco signed MOU between General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Fishery of Morocco on Imported and Exported Food Safety Cooperation in the Great Hall of the People.

In accordance with the MOU signed, China and Morocco will establish safety cooperation mechanism on imported and exported food safety, strengthen cooperation and exchange in aspects of information, technology and management, jointly improve food safety guarantee capacity and further benefit bilateral trade development under premise of safety guarantee.
