In accordance with requirements of Decision made by the State Council on Strengthening Food Safety, recently, 17 departments including Food Safety Office of the State Council, Central Civilization Office, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, National Health and Family Planning Commission, State Administration for Industry & Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, China Food and Drug Administration, National Internet Information Office, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, National Food Administration, All-China Women's Federation, China Association for Science and Technology and China Railway jointly released the Notice on Carrying out 2016 China Food Safety Publicity Week. The Notice requires each region and each department carrying out food safety education and practice activities nationwide around the theme of “Pursuing morality and following laws, jointly controlling and sharing food safety”.
