The newly revised Food Safety Law clarifies four principles of food safety, respectively prevention first, risk management, whole process control and social shared control. With the guidance of these principles, the China Food and Drug Administration organized China Institute of Food Science and Technology as well as relevant industrial associations and authorized experts to prepare a series of hints for consumptions starting from food varieties with large daily consumption, aiming at possible food safety blind spots and mistake concepts in consumption, and combining characteristics of summer such as high temperature and humidity.
