Although China is the largest peanut production country in China, its import demand is increasing. The predicted peanut import volume of China in 2015/2016 is 100,000ton larger, totally 380,000t, due to increase of consumption. The import volume in 2016/2017 will increase 130,000t, totally 4 million ton. The peanut consumption in China in 2016/2017 may increase nearly 3%, reaching 16.8 million ton. Since the food level peanut consumption increases, the peanut oil demand is increasing.
