The other day, the General Affairs Office of China Food and Drug Administration released the Notice on Further Strengthening Supervision on Food Additives Production.

The Notice requires urging enterprises to produce according to laws and regulations, and tightly implement main responsibilities; urging food additive manufacturers to establish and perfect food safety self inspection system and mainly focus on daily supervision on self-inspection record, production condition changes and potential risks for food safety accidents.
