Reporters have learned from the Food and Drug
Administration that the revised “General Rules on the Examination of
Food Production” (hereinafter referred to as “the General Rules”) will be put
into effect officially on October 1st this year, and the original
version of 2010 will be out of use. It is understood that the existing
detailed rules and regulations on the examination of
food production will be still effective before the revised version is issued.
There are three major changes in the new “General
Rules”, “Two Tong and One Jian[U1] ”
First, the “General Rules” can
be universally used.
Second, link licensing with
supervision.
Third, simplifies the conditions, requirements and contents for examination.
