On
Aug. 30, CFDA released letter about supervisions problems of food cross-border
e-commerce enterprises, and replied to the Request
of Chongqing Food and Drug Administration on Supervision Problems of Food
Cross-border E-commerce Enterprises.
CFDA pointed out in the reply the cross-border food e-commerce enterprises, which set offline exhibition (experience) store but not sell foods, need not to handle Business Certificate for Food. However, the exhibition (experience) store shall set notice board on the business site to prompt consumers no food sold there.
CFDA emphasized that the

Food. The food sold shall comply with laws and regulations, and safety standards
on food safety.
