is the fastest-growing market. The Farm’s vice president, Richard Sampson
Genest, who is in charge of marketing said that the company’s next objective is
expanding supply to meet Chinese consumers’ strong buying demand. “Stahmann
Farm plans to increase nut export to China to 1,000 tons, which is 20%
of our total production.”.

According to data of Australian Nut Industry Committee (ANIC), China’s
nut consumption has experienced explosive growth from 2010 and nowadays has
occupied more than 20% of the global production, driving nut price to a
all-time high. China’s
strong demand has made nut industry become one of Australia’s
fastest-growing industries.
